Andy Warhol was an American Pop artist popular during the 1960’s and 1970’s. He was also known as a visual artist, film director and producer. As a child, he would spend his time drawing, making scrapbooks from Hollywood magazines and cutting out images from comic books. His first job after moving to New York was drawing shoes for Glamour magazine. He is probably most famous for his silkscreen paintings of Campbell’s Soup Cans.
